Edgar Ulanov returns home. According to BasketNews sources, the 29-year-old Lithuanian has reached an agreement with Kaunas “Žalgiris”.
Triples released this season
According to BasketNews, the 198cm tall basketball player will sign a one-year contract.
This deal will not place a large financial burden on Žalgiris, as Ulanov received solid compensation for the termination of the contract with Fenerbahche Istanbul.
Ulanov has recently taken an interest in the Monaco club.
The forward wore the Žalgiris jersey for six years when he shook hands with Fenerbahche last summer on a two-year contract. However, after the first season in Istanbul, Ulanov agreed to terminate the contract in order to get a bigger role and more playing time.
In the last Euroleague season, Ulanov’s market averaged 19 minutes. 4.5 points, 1.6 rebounds and 1.4 assists.
