The show by fans who watched the tournament on television did not disappoint. In the main battle of the night, Justin Gaethje fought impressively against rank leader Tony Ferguson and defeated him in the fifth round.

Although T. Ferguson, who had had 12 straight wins before this fight, was admirably on his feet, he ultimately lost to the 31-year-old opponent with a technical knockout.

Mr. Gaethje became the temporary champion in the weight class of up to 70 kg. For the true champion title, the American will still have to fight Chabib Nurmagomedov in the future, who would not be able to face Ferguson again.

In the next fight, the champion of two different categories, Henry Cejudo, defended a belt in the weight category of up to 61 kg and announced the end of his career.

The 33-year-old American beat UFC legend Dominic Cruz, who returned to the ring after a four-year break, in a second round TKO.

At the 2008 Olympic wrestling championship, Olympic champion H. Cejudo had 16 wins and 2 losses against Joseph Benavidez and Demetrious Johnson.

Before the last one in 2018, H. Cejudo achieved a rematch and, after finishing his dominance, he became the champion of the category up to 56.7 kg, and a year later, after defeating Marlon Moraes, he also became the champion of the category up to 61 kg.

In other battles, Francis Ngannou managed to knock out Jairzinho Rozenstruik from Suriname in 20 seconds, and Anthony Pettis, who broke a series of two losses, beat Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in a 15-minute battle.
