The Russian team said it broke up with Greg Monroe and Jonas Jerebko for personal reasons, who played in the NBA for many years and represented the Detroit Pistons together in 2010-2015.

G. Monroe is averaging 10.3 points, 6 balls and 12.8 utility points in the Euroleague this year, and J. Jerebko: 11.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 12 utility points each.

Thirteen times in a row in the Euroleague, the Khimkis are the absolute outsiders to the tournament, trailing pre-race place by up to five wins.

Chimki, who said goodbye to Rimas Kurtinaitis, was replaced by his former assistants Andrejus Malcevas and Aurimas Jasilionis.

The last time the club won in the Euroleague was in mid-November, when they broke up team Zenit in St. Petersburg.
