Domantas Sabonis, who injured his ankle, left the Indiana Pacers lineup. The club has officially announced that the 24-year-old will miss the Saturday-Sunday game with the San Antonio Spurs.
The Lithuanian national team forward sprained his left ankle in the third quarter in a game with the Charlotte Hornets last night and did not appear on the floor in the deciding quarter.
How long he won’t be able to play has yet been announced.
The involvement of Malcolm Brogdon (hip injury) and Jeremy Lambo (toe injury) in the game against Spurs remains questionable.
Sabonis, who records his career performance this season, accumulates an average of 19.9 points, 11.3 rebounds and 6 assists.
