On the morning of February 21, a VW Caddy caught the attention of officers from the Telšiai County Highway Police Department who were patrolling an unmarked police car in the town of Nerimdaičiai. The officers who lit the beacons wanted to stop this car on the other side of the road for inspection. However, after seeing them, the driver decided to avoid clashes with the officers, did not stop and kept driving, reports Telšiai County Police.

The officers quickly turned around, turned on special light and sound signals, and immediately began to pursue the fugitive. As they drove behind the loudspeaker, officers constantly demanded that he stop, but the driver ignored the demands.

However, the fugitive who was driving through the city failed to escape. The eight-minute hunt ended. It turned out that the police requirement to stop the vehicle was ignored by a man born in 1990, and he did not confront the officers because he had not acquired the right to drive. By the way, he was driving a vehicle not only without the right to do so, but also a technically messy car, not registered in accordance with the procedure established by law and without mandatory liability insurance.

Due to the fact that he was not driving the car without having the right to drive, he did not comply with the requirement to stop the vehicle, and administrative violation reports were made for the driver.

By the way, after catching the fugitive, the officers were hit thanks to the woman who lives in the town. He thanked them for their professional work in stopping the car and arresting the fugitive.
