Special services were notified of the accident outside the Vilnius district, on the Dūkšta – Vievis highway, at 8 pm. Two cars collided near the Irish front, and at least three people were crushed in the cars. Rescuers say only Volvo was cut.
After cutting the door, rescuers pulled out a 57-year-old dead passenger, found her in the back, according to preliminary data, she was not wearing a seat belt. And here the young driver was alive, he had not lost consciousness.

According to preliminary data, the guy was sober. It turns out that the driver killed his mother. Relatives arrived on the scene.
“The young, young driver apparently exceeded speed,” family members said.
And the Kia was driven by a family, and up to five people were rushed to the hospital. A 40-year-old driver and a 14-year-old teenager receive treatment in a hospital, while a 35-year-old woman and 11 and two children receive treatment at home.
Here is a view from above: the accident took place on a completely straight stretch of road. Bending here is not prohibited, but probably due to lack of driving experience, the Volvo driver was unable to perform this maneuver safely.
Also, the driver probably violated the rules by exceeding the speed limit.
There is no driver start signal on the Volvo, but it must have been so: Police say the car was driven by a 19-year-old.
A driver without two years of driving experience only has a speed of 70 kilometers per hour on that road.
