Tougher traffic conditions: in the south and southeast of Lithuania and in the Šiauliai and Panevėžys districts

Here the pavements of the main roads are wet, in places covered with a thin layer of loose, torn, slippery snow.

In the rest of the country, the main roads are mostly wet, with sections of dry roads in some places. The regional roads with less intensity of traffic remain slippery in Lithuania, with patches of compressed snow and there are also sections of icy roads. There is light snow in the south and southeast of Lithuania and Šiauliai county, there is no precipitation elsewhere. Air temperature from 12 to 17 degrees below zero, in places up to 21 degrees below zero.

According to the Hydrometeorological Service, no significant snowfall is expected during the day. The highest air temperature is 6 to 11 degrees below zero, in some places as low as 13 degrees below zero.
