“I also had to communicate with representatives and leaders of the opposition. I also had to communicate with position leaders recently. The basic idea here is very simple, we know that this vote will be a kind of examination and a kind of roadmap for the Future relations between the opposition and the majority. We know that it will send a certain signal to us, the former rulers, the Union of Peasants and Greens of Lithuania, it is up to you what that signal will be, “said T. Tomilinas.

According to him, the candidate has no complaints, so he hopes that the vote will not be transferred to personalities between the president and the opposition.

“Obviously, there are no complaints about Aušrinė Norkienė’s candidacy and personality. Neither in public nor in individual and face-to-face communication. Therefore, there is only one expression of the goodwill of the current majority. Is there? However, is there a impulse for revenge (…) In principle, I believe that these relationships will be different and we will be able to make many important decisions together and our voices will undoubtedly be a series of important decisions as well. We know how to negotiate and we agree to act coherently, “he said. Tomilinas.

On Tuesday, the president of the Seimas Viktorija Čmilytė-Nielsen, who has two deputies, registered four draft resolutions, by which she presents four more candidates to the Seimas for the vacant post of vice president of the Seimas.

They are Radvilė Morkūnaitė-Mikulėnienė and Paulius Saudargas, members of the ruling Union of the Union of the Homeland-Lithuanian Christian Democrats (TS-LKD), A. Norkienė, member of the opposition group of the Lithuanian Peasants and Greens Seimas, and Vytautas Mital, another member of the ruling Freedom Group.
