Stankūnavičius, such changes can bring greater losses, because we will not be prepared for them.
In the next few days, the winter weather again
The joys of warming will not last long: in March, says the associate professor, we will have another cold: “The heat wave is already passing, today it will leave Lithuania, the weather will be a little cooler. Early next week, a little heat wave again. We should expect more serious changes in the second half of the week: the cold at night should return, and only around zero or a little more during the day. “
At the end of March, says G. Stankūnavičius, we can expect the cold to disappear next year. Popular wisdom offers to decide on the climate of the next seasons from the first four days of March: “According to the first day of March we decide on spring, the second – on summer, then – on autumn and winter. If we follow this tradition, we can also guess ourselves “, recalls the climatologist.
