The representative of “Valstiečių” Kęstutis Mažeika told BNS that he felt unwell after Christmas, so he took the COVID-19 test and received a positive response. The MP said he could return to the Seimas in the near future and his recent tests were negative.
Due to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases, the Seimas will move to telecommuting starting next Tuesday. On Wednesday, the Seimas Board decided to hold the first remote plenary session on Tuesday.
