This week intensive tests of COVID-19 will be carried out in six municipalities.

The incidence in the Trakai district is currently 21.5, in the Šakiai district – 11.2, in the city of Kaunas – 7.6, in the Šalčininkai district – 6.6, in the Utena district – 5.4, in the Kretinga district – 5.3.

Therefore, employees of medical institutions will be prophylactically examined in these municipalities this week. Patients in medical facilities in these municipalities will be randomized.

Other employees whose job details are related to customer service, such as those who work in pharmacies, stores, the municipalities mentioned above, will be randomly surveyed. Their registration will be made in the Corona direct line number 1808, people must go to the mobile points.

Last week, the municipalities with a 14-day incidence of coronavirus infection counted 100,000. The population in the Vilnius, Anykščiai, Trakai and Kretinga districts was higher than the Lithuanian average.
