When evaluating the results of the elections, Alvydas Vaicekauskas, president of the Prienai Division of the LSDP, was open and assured that the result of J. Zailskienė was one of the best among the Social Democrats who fought for a seat in the Seimas in our constituency uninominal. According to the department chair, J. Zailskiene and his team lacked time to introduce themselves to the people of the Alytus district and this had a decisive impact. A. Vaicekauskas admitted that a better result was expected, but Andrius’ workmanship and reputation determined his victory: But the people chose Andrew and we have to evaluate their choice. “

According to her, the current Seimas elections were difficult for several reasons. First, it is an increase in the boundaries of the constituency, second, Andrius did not have time to visit voters during the election campaign due to his employment in the Ministry of Agriculture. On the other hand, being a minister, he made a series of good decisions for the country and, at the same time, for the country’s farmers. According to E. Palionytė, people did not vote as expected everywhere. And it shows the need to work for even more people. It is impossible to guarantee people’s trust in unique actions, sincere daily work is required.
According to E. Palionytė, Andrius Palionis helps the people of the country a lot, but he is too modest to talk about it.
Election results: 7258 voters (57.53%) voted for Andrius Palionis, 4,719 (39.55%) voted for Jūratė Zailskienė.
