It was immediately decided to check and find out why the published quarantine requirements were not met.

The inspection revealed that three men and two girls are Vilnius residents and have no reason to be on the territory of the Trakai District Municipality at this time.

All the young men expressed obvious dissatisfaction with this police work, and one of them, a Vilnius man in his twenties, suddenly attacked the officers: one of them hit his leg in the chest area and the other kicked him in Leg.

Another police team from the Trakai district immediately arrived to assist the patrols. The young man actively resisted arrest, for which he was subjected to combat self-defense, Tazer electric shock, and subsequently handcuffs.

The detained citizen was handed over to the Trakai District Police Station. A pre-trial investigation was launched into resistance to an official.

The suspect has been arrested and is well known to the capital’s police for robberies, robberies and previous administrative infractions.

All offenders have protocols for breach of quarantine rules, face fines of between 500 and 1,500 euros and are suspected of having committed public works, fines or imprisonment of up to three years.
