The price of charging a scooter in Palanga surprised vacationers – until the last moment they thought the joke

In early August, reader Artūras shared a photo of the restaurant receipt on his Facebook wall with a note indicating the amount that was calculated to … charge the scooter.

“Palanga, Basanavičiaus street. The Molinis ąsotis restaurant took 10 euros an hour to load the scooter. “I recommend it to scooters :))), wrote Artūras next to the photo.

The man told the Delfi portal that there was a dinner at the restaurant and that they were celebrating the boy’s birthday with friends. When the man arrived with a scooter, he asked to load it.

The cafe warned about a 10 euro fee. I tried to negotiate with them, I said that I had not seen the boy in almost a year and the table had already placed orders, we could not change the coffee. If I had stayed in Palanga, I would not have even asked for that service, but the scooter battery was almost empty and I still had to return to Šventoji after dinner.

Loading took a little over half an hour. From what I know from experience, an electric scooter does not swallow more than a television, although it still needs to be clarified here. I was just hoping the restaurant staff would take the situation into account, but unfortunately, until the end, until I saw the check, I thought they were joking. They didn’t laugh, “Artūras was surprised.

Portal “Delfi” on August 11. He contacted the Molinis Jug restaurant and asked how the charging prices were set to see if more people were outraged by them. Until the day of the article’s launch, on August 30, the restaurant had not yet commented on the situation.
