Bubnel did not elaborate on how and for what reasons the country’s leader’s agenda had changed, but hinted that the changes were related to foreign policy issues.

The login manager, Sandra Meškauskaitė-Stepšienė, told BNS that the presidency informed the organizer that G. Nausėda would not participate in the event on Thursday morning.
“We have been told that the president will not be able to attend the event,” he said.
According to S. Meškauskaitė-Stepšienė, the organizers received such information approximately one hour before the start of the event.
