Kaunas residents report that the city has more police officers than usual

As previously announced, the police are intensifying controls on people traveling by car and public transport during the long Easter weekend, ensuring movement restrictions between municipalities. R. According to Deputy Chief of Police Arūnas Paulauskas, the inspections will be carried out around the clock. “The maximum intensity will be during peak vehicle traffic, but drivers should not be surprised even if they stop at night and will be monitored to see if they are traveling in the municipality in a reasonable manner,” he said.
