The government will not quarantine the quarantine regime this week, but in the near future it may consider releasing some of its activities by limiting its working hours, says Prime Minister Ingrida imonyt. According to her, many ideas regarding movement restrictions are also being considered.
There will definitely be no offerings this week, because it is important to live and refresh safely to accept Passover. Then depending on the numbers we see, next week there may be a fall in government. We will definitely not change the quarantine regime this week, I. imonyt told reporters on Tuesday.
According to the Prime Minister, the possibility of allowing a part to function by suddenly limiting his working hours is currently being discussed. According to her, this would be allowed if there was a consensus that extracurricular activities take place at home.
Apparently, the greater number of cases is not due to the company going to a bookstore, museum or even a store. This is probably due to the fact that the one house rule is simply not followed, says I. imonyt.
She says that it does not go unnoticed by the reality that part of the population ignores the restrictions, because they are simply tired of complying with them.
If this is the way to agree: that we have more options during the day, where and where to act, but at night the contacts are exchanged (through which contagion spreads), I think it could be a fairly fair deal. We won’t offer it yet, but there was such a discussion, he said.
In mid-March, the government, after accepting the releases, allowed the resumption of all open-air stores, museums, galleries, allowed schools to open most of the primary school, but, without improving epidemiological indicators, temporarily renewed restrictions on movement between municipalities.
Next week, the government will decide how to continue to apply movement restrictions in the country, where innovations may emerge.
At the beginning of next week, we will know what the situation is and if it is necessary to leave the restriction for a part of the municipality, and it could be modified. Suppose you allow companies that have a vaccination or a negative test result to move if it is considered too long to implement the technique for the police to verify it, the head of government said.
According to her, many ideas about movement restrictions are currently being considered.
“I limit the movement to more focused vents and the fact that there has been a lot of discussion about what vents should look like. Only through vents, please wake up at home,” the prime minister said.
Starting at midnight on Thursday, a driving ban between the country’s municipalities, with the exception of stalls, came into force in Lithuania. The ban was renewed by the government until April 6 inclusive to stop the spread of COVID-19.
