The Panevėžys floating fountain has become a real sensation: there is no such thing in any of the Baltic countries

“We are renovating the public spaces of Panevėžys and strive to make the city attractive and modern. We hope that this fountain, which has no analogues in Lithuania and the Baltic States, will become another center of attraction of Panevėžys, where not only residents of Panevėžys, residents of other cities of our country, but also foreign tourists will visit the impressive pictures. formed by water. currents, ”says the mayor of Panevėžys, Rytis Račkauskas.

The floating fountain will surprise those who come to admire it for 30 minutes. a performance in which the streams from the fountain will be played synchronously and dynamically according to a pre-programmed algorithm, the music will be played, the underwater lighting of the streams will change, and a stunning image will be projected onto the fan-shaped water screen. There are even two versions of the performance: for the light and dark times of the day.

“I want to be happy that our company has had the honor of implementing such an important project. This floating musical fountain, synchronized, with lights and projections, up to 36 meters long and almost 18 meters high, is the largest, most recent and more efficient not only in Lithuania, but also in the Baltic States. This source is unique because it uses a large number of objects, innovations, built-in sophisticated electronics, built-in intelligent control – supervisors can monitor and control the performance of the source through from a mobile phone application, through a smart application.

In addition, the operation of the fountain itself is also based on ecology: it uses Senvagė water, where the streams saturate the water with oxygen, which has an impact on reducing the eutrophication sludge process. which is very important for Senvage, “says Mantvydas Šakalys, director of UAB Poolservice.LT, who installed the font.

According to the organizers of the fountain, when creating the fountain, the idea was born to convey the history of the city of Panevėžys in the most beautiful way possible through animation. Four themes were selected based on the elements: air, water, fire, and earth. Each symbol, which is unique to Panevėžys in a historical, architectural and symbolic sense, is integrated into four small stories. During the 518th birthday of the city of Panevėžys, during the performance of the fountain, it was possible to see both the mill and the typical folk streets of the highlanders, the Baltic highway and other historical fragments related to Panevėžys.

In Senvagė, the fountain will be open every day from 7.30 am to 9.00 pm, and every Friday from 9.00 pm to 9.30 pm there will be a musical performance of the fountain of lights and projections.
