According to the Ministry, the NVSC will organize and coordinate inspections on compliance with quarantine measures in cooperation with the country’s municipal administrations, the Police Department and the State Food and Veterinary Service (SFVS).

“Priority will be given to those economic activities that can resume their activities once restrictions on the quarantine regime are lifted,” says SAM.

By decision of Minister Arūnas Dulkis, the NVSC is instructed to organize joint inspections with the aforementioned institutions – at that time the directors of the municipal administrations, the police and the SFVS – to carry out specific controls throughout the country.

The decision also defines how the information will be collected and provided.

The authorities receive instructions every Friday at 12 noon. Provide the State Emergency Operations Center with information on the administrative processes of administrative offenses initiated, the investigations of administrative offenses carried out and the administrative offenses protocols drawn up.

The coordinator of the State Emergency Operations Center is instructed to present this weekly aggregated data by municipality every Monday, as well as by type of infraction.
