“I know Vilius Semeškas as a principled politician who has always been concerned with transparency issues, and is also a member of the Lithuanian Rifle Union. I hope these qualities will help him in the work of the vice minister,” says the minister of National Defense Arvydas Anušauskas.
“It is a great responsibility and an honor for me to join the strengthening of national defense. I will do my best to use the funds from the state budget in an efficient and transparent manner,” says Deputy Minister of National Defense V. Semeška.
V. Semeška, a graduate in economics and banking, has been a member of the Central Election Commission for the past three years and has served as a faction rapporteur at the Seimas Chancellery of the Republic of Lithuania. He also has extensive experience in the private sector: he has led several international companies, was a board member and president.
V. Semeška has a master’s degree from Vilnius University and a bachelor’s degree in banking from the Vilnius School of Economics.
The new Deputy Minister of National Defense, V. Semeška, is a member of the Lithuanian Rifle Union in the first team of Riflemen Antanas Juozapavičius.
