And that’s not all. Teams arrive at the Dakar Rally in trucks and cars packed with spare parts, tires, wheels, tools and a variety of items for their personal comfort. Original by Motul alone doesn’t have that luxury – they don’t have a team, so they don’t have trucks or cars. But, of course, the organizers must ensure that races in this category are possible.
The organizers of the Dakar Rally Original by Motul provide cyclists with:
- 1 fixed size box (trunk) personal effects, tools and spare parts;
- 1 transport of wheel and tire sets, a tent, a bag and said luggage between speed sections;
- free access to generators, compressors and toolboxes;
- racing information.

- ecological subfloor (to prevent grease from reaching the ground);
- camping equipment: tent, mattress, warm sleeping bag, blanket;

On the other hand, it is also the cheapest way to participate in this marathon, although it is clear that runners do it not because of the cost, but because of the challenge.
