The State Language Inspectorate, in cooperation with the LRT, the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists and the Ministry of Culture, organized a long-term competition for the names of Lithuanian companies.
The aim of the contest is to raise the profile of the Lithuanian language, in homage to the leaders of the company, who have preserved the names of Lithuanians throughout the year of Independence and demonstrated that the skin of our language was not and did not change its activities, in a message spread by paymima.
Fifty-five streams of registration centers I were selected in 1990 and 1991. Companies with Lithuanian names operating successfully until today.
The flow is based on the registration date according to the selection criteria. When choosing, it was important that the symbolic name of the legal person complied with the general rules of the Lithuanian language, not artificial leather, no numbers, letter abbreviations, no state, municipal company, club, association, public institution, society, horticultural association , individual company name.
The interest of the company’s activities was also evaluated (goods and services are advertised on Internet media, websites, social networks). The Mons, with whom the managers could not be contacted, did not participate.
It was possible to vote on the Lrt.lt portal and on the website of the Lithuanian Confederation of Industrialists.
10 names were chosen from this stream, which received the most attention from the reader (in ten days, a man could vote once).
A total of 4,455 visitors voted: Alaua (1,238 votes), Genys (744), Margi wheels (424), Falcon (322), Glasses (245), Thought (224), venioni gls (189), Heel (188), venioni vaistaols (180), Kietaviki abundance (165).
