The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has updated the travel recommendations: it has raised the main warning for two more countries

[ad_1]

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is calling for the abandonment of unnecessary trips to Belgium and Ireland, where the incidence of COVID-19 continues to exceed 15 cases per 100,000 inhabitants in the last 14 days.

Travelers to other countries in the European Economic Area are advised to take precautions. It is especially important to note that the disease situation can change very rapidly and this can lead to the renewal of the necessary restrictions both in foreign countries and in Lithuania. Lithuanian citizens planning to travel abroad, especially outside Europe, are encouraged to assess possible travel interruptions in a very responsible manner and to take an interest in the requirements that still apply in foreign countries for isolation, etc.

The list of countries from which foreigners can come to Lithuania was also updated as of Monday. We remind you that Lithuanian citizens can always return to Lithuania, but the list of countries indicated indicates whether it will be necessary for them to comply with the mandatory isolation upon their return.

We remind you that you can consult the travel recommendation for a specific country on the page https://keliauk.urm.lt.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs recommends downloading the Travel Safe application and receiving relevant consular information and direct notifications from the Ministry in the event of a crisis in a foreign country – iOS: https://goo.gl/dOxeli, Android: https: // goo .gl / rPwrfx.
