Pasvalys ‘Milk Stars’ team (10/14) showed character in the Betsafe-LKL match, putting together a great section at the end of the third quarter and thus laying the foundation for victory.

Pieno Žvaigždės took advantage of a strong attack from the rivals and finally kept control in his hands and led 60:57. This was made possible by a great 6 minute stretch, in which CBet scored just 3 points and Milk Stars even 21.
The guests were now more confident, but the Prieniai team did not waste any easy chances and compared the result after Einaras Tubutis and Egidijus Dimša shot from the basket – 71:71. Still, the free throws confirmed the win for the guests: they were attacked by T. Lekūnas, then one by Steven Haney, and Ignas Sargiūnas threw a fairly free three-point pass.
Previously, the Betsafe-LKL teams had met twice; both matches were won by the Pasvalys club.
The three Pasvalio players stood out for their performance. Tomas Lekūnas scored 23 points and bounced 9 balls, Paulius Petrilevičius added 14 points and J.Manigat added 13 points. In addition to the aforementioned 4 long shots by J. Manigat, T. Lekūnas added another 3, when the entire “Milk Stars” team scored 10.
In the last seconds of the match, T. Lekūnas still received a blow to the neck and left the field to the siren.
