Dovydas Judelevičius was born on October 5, 1925. His main works are Living Shakespeare: On the Tragedies of V. Shakespeare Staged in Lithuanian Theaters (1964) and 20th Century Dramaturgy: Playwrights of Western European Dramatures (1970). He was a co-author of collections of articles and textbooks. Also translated from English: J. London. Stories of the Fisheries Watch: Short Stories (1947), O’Henry. Since 1958 he was a member of the Union of Lithuanian Writers.
