After three hours of tension and reinforced police forces, it was clear that no crime had been and was not committed. An intimidation has just been conceived. Not to bully children, as people often do, but to raise a drunken grown man.

About three and a half days, the Joniškis police officers received a phone call from the girl telling them that she was forcibly detained in an apartment. In which city that apartment is located, the caller did not provide information and ended the conversation.

Officers tried to contact her to get her call back, but no one picked up the phone and then the phone was completely turned off. The caller’s location data showed that the girl was calling from a home in Joniškis, Draugystės St ..

The patrols that arrived at the designated place began to search the rapporteur’s apartment, knocking on each door. The residents who opened the apartment door explained that they did not call the police and did not need help.

To find out what was happening in those apartments whose doors no one had opened, a Fire and Rescue Service was called. His staff climbed the ladder to the upper floors, looking out the windows, but saw nothing suspicious.

Before 6 pm a girl approached the officers and admitted that she had called the emergency phone number.

It was discovered that a 22-year-old Joniškis living in this house called the police, as he was completely sober. According to her, she got angry with a 26-year-old drunk friend (1.77 prom.) And, to scare him, she called the emergency center and said that the guy had her locked in the apartment.

After that, the girl turned off the phone and went to sleep with a friend. He thought that he had done nothing wrong and that the special services would not answer the call because he did not indicate where he was calling from. While sleeping, he heard a noise in the stairwell, heard a knock on the door, but did not see who was calling, so he did not open the apartment door. The boy did not abuse her and did not cause her any physical pain.

When the Joniškis called the police officers, knowing that no help was needed, a protocol of administrative misconduct was drawn up for her in accordance with article 493 of the ANC of the Republic of Lithuania. 2 d. – Obstruction of the work of the General Assistance Center, calling of special services knowing that assistance is not needed. For this, a fine of two hundred to two thousand euros is foreseen. The court will decide the amount of the fine for the Joniškis.
