According to the Notes from Poland portal, infectious disease expert Professor A. Horban unexpectedly responded positively to journalists’ question about whether the country will not need to introduce mandatory vaccination.
“If other measures don’t work, then of course something like this may be needed,” said the researcher.
However, he added that the idea of such a mandatory vaccination has not yet been discussed with members of the COVID-19 Medical Council, which was founded last year by Morawieckis and chaired by A. Horban himself.

The researcher also recalled that so far not enough doses of vaccines have been delivered to Poland, as to other EU countries, so until now it has not made much sense to talk about mandatory vaccination.
