The municipality politician is surprised by the behavior of R. Karbauskis.
“It just came to our knowledge then. What are you afraid of? I will not go to the presidents, let them not survive. Perhaps I am afraid of the election of the party president. I will not go, Ramūnas can rest easy on that,” said V. Pozingis.
The interlocutor added that this is not the first chapter of the game that opens.

Karbauskis: It’s not what it looks like here
The president of LVŽS, Ramūnas Karbauskis, explained to Delfi that it is not what it seems in this situation.
“This is not the first time in the history of our union that we have suspended a division and instructed someone to reshape that division. There was simply a long-standing conflict between the former president of the green peasant Šilutė, the former mayor, now the head of the administration Virgilijus Pozingis, and the party board. This is related to the fact that in order for the activities of that department to no longer be linked to that person in any way, such a measure had to be taken, “said R Karbauskis.
The president of LVŽS explained that the resumed department will be presented at the next Council meeting.
“It just came to our attention then. There has just been a situation there for many years where eliminating a member of the party that I mentioned would no longer have solved the problem.” Only many people who are registered in the union department, whom no one He has seen or heard, they are related to V. The party president taught that the department itself declares in the documents that it has 300 people, but that a hundred people have never attended its meetings.

It was a very good moment, there were two years to go before the municipal elections. It is correct to make changes, for people to see those changes and for the department to come well prepared for the municipal elections, ”said R. Karbauskis.
The chapter will be substantially renewed
According to the party president, the division will be substantially renewed.
“Those people who are really in the peasant-green union because of their points of view, have been and will be. For us, it is not even in doubt. There are simply those hundreds of people who have never been to the party, have not been to the meetings, maybe not even all of them know that they are on the union’s lists, ”said R. Karbauskis.
The head of LVŽS says that here it is no longer a single person.
“We changed the president of the department before the last municipal elections, but that did not change the situation, because the influence of that person remained the same as before. We had no other option in this situation, “said R. Karbauskis.
In his opinion, the renovation will be very well received in the Šilutė district.
“This will increase our results in the municipal elections. V. Pozingis, mayoral candidate in the previous municipal elections, received fewer votes than the department received as a list. And that already means that the person who carries the list begins to convert. It is an obstacle for the department itself to achieve better results. When we change department head, we no longer have two but four terms. I am convinced that after these changes we will have even better results there, “said R. Karbauskis.
