The Ministry of the Interior points out that the aforementioned changes are very important due to the massive public events in progress, where the organizers do not control the number of people, that is, when anyone can enter the events and it is impossible to predict the number of participants and ensure compliance with other requirements.
Changes due to events are said to improve the main tool to prevent the spread of coronavirus – remote compliance and the main tool for infection control – traceability and isolation of contact persons.
“Until now, it has not been possible to trace the contacts of up to 300 participants in the events, which means that it is impossible to identify the chain of transmission of the infection and control the process. We draw attention to the fact that in many countries the number of participants in events is limited and the necessary conditions are established, and in Lithuania the number of participants is not limited, that is, the restrictions are not great ”, says the document prepared by the Ministry of the Interior.
