Lithuania, which is breaking free from the clutches of the COVID-19 virus, has prepared for another stage of relaxation from quarantine. Along with a major decision on wearing masks in public places, it was decided on Wednesday to resume sporting events as well.
It was decided that the resumption of professional sports competitions will be allowed from May 30. So far, of course, without viewers.
“They will be allowed in open and closed spaces with a maximum of 30 spectators (event organizers and staff are not included here) and the established distance between them will be maintained. I would like to add here that the number of viewers allowed in the near future may change in an upward direction, if the epidemiological situation allows it, ”Skvernelis wrote on Facebook.
Starting May 18, the quarantine relaxation will take effect when a gathering of up to 30 people is allowed in the open space.
