“Now everything seems a bit through the fog, but in comparison, I hold up well, there is some inner peace. Probably because the whole family and the children are together, they are all healthy, this is the most important thing, ”the woman complains.
The fire was noticed by his daughter.
She says a fire broke out that crashed the house to the ground on the afternoon of November 13. At the time, Gintarė had gone to Alytus for shopping, and Martyna, 15, and Jomantas, 11, stayed home, for whom the lessons were taught remotely:
“The daughter said that she went to the kitchen to wash the dishes and saw the smoke through the window. He immediately ran off, thinking that maybe the smoke was spreading somewhere from the neighbors, but he saw them running through our roof. Apparently it had been burning on the roof for a long time, he was upset because when he returned to take his brother, the house was already full of smoke.
The greatest joy is that he realized in time, because if they had taken longer, he could have covered that roof and everything else … “
Thought the fire hadn’t spread
The girl not only took care of her brother and took him out of the burning house, but together with him she asked for help and called her mother.
“The kids are really great, they reacted very quickly and quickly, they called the fire department and asked for help. If he had been at home, there would probably have been more stress, the scare would have been much greater … I think maybe God put it that way ”, says Gintarė, who carries her fourth child under her heart.

“It was thought that everything would be fine, that it would burn just a little, that something would help quickly. So I drove home with such peace. But when I saw that terrible smoke near the house, it turned out that it did not burn a little here, but according to if necessary …

The family stayed with Gintarė’s parents.
The fire completely destroyed the house built by Marius himself and the unfinished house and all the family property. Since the house was not completed, the family did not reassure him.
“We stayed as we were, everything burned to the ground. From the inside, it would not even have managed to save anything. Everything was quickly covered in flames and everything burned completely,” sighed Gintar sus.
