Robertas Šarknickas, candidate of the Union of Peasants and Greens, and Julius Sabatauskas, candidate of the Social Democrats, share second and third place.
In fourth place, according to preliminary results, is the candidate of the National Union of Lithuanian Christian Democrats Povilas Labukas, in fifth place, the independent candidate Valerijus Vencius.
At around 11 pm Alytusplius.lt informed A. Galakvoščius, Vice Chairman of the Election Commission of the Alytus Electoral District, that the situation is changing. According to preliminary data, the independent candidate V. Bakas obtained the most sympathy from the voters, P. Labukas, the candidate of the National Union of Lithuanian Christian Democrats, obtained the second place, R. Šarknickas, the candidate of the Union of Peasants and Greens, in third place, J. Sabatauskas, the candidate of the Social Democrats. Results from 11 districts. A.Galakvoščius claims that the gap between all candidates is small, sometimes only 50 votes.
