The total area of the wooden part of Kurhaus is about 700 square meters.

There are two rooms on the second floor of the wooden part of the building, which are planned to be rehearsed for the art groups of the Palanga Culture and Youth Center.
The restored wooden part of Kurhaus, like the brick one, will be handed over to the cultural community.
The municipality of Palanga announced that after the festive event, the public will have the opportunity to take a look inside the wooden part of the Kurhaus, to see the representative and theater rooms.
To ensure the safety of visitors, it will be possible to enter the interior in small groups, and it will be necessary to leave the building through another entrance, not the main one, towards J. Basanavičiaus street.
In addition, to be able to visit the building, it is necessary to register, use mouth and nasal masks and maintain a safe distance.
Kurhaus was devastated by fire in 2002. The brick part of Kurhaus, which belongs to the tourist municipality, was restored in 2013. Various cultural events and concerts are held here.
Three years ago, the municipality also took over the surviving fragments of the wooden part of the building.
Before that, the Klaipėda Regional Court declared that the wooden part of Kurhaus, which belonged to the Jack family, was to be taken over by the state and almost 30 thousand people were convicted. Euro damage due to negligence of the object.
Palanga Kurhaus is the first recreation building in the Palanga complex, construction of which was started by Count Juozas Tiškevičius in the 1970s. At that time, Kurhaus, together with the surrounding park, had become the center of the emerging complex . The building hosts concerts and dance evenings.
