29 people died of coronavirus last day, most of them older, the Statistics Department reported Friday.
There were two deaths in the 90-99 age group, 12 in the 80-89 group, three in the 70-79 group, seven in the 60-69 group, two in the 50-59 group, and two in the 40-49 group.
One of the dead was between 20 and 29 years old.
Kaunas clinics announced this death on Thursday. According to them, the 27-year-old man, the youngest victim of the infection to date, has passed away.
Nine deaths were recorded in Kaunas County. Five people died in Šiauliai, three in Marijampolė, Telšiai and Vilnius, two in Panevėžys and Tauragė, and one in Klaipėda and Utena counties.
