The famous police fugitive Molotkov shines again: he pretends to be an investigator for the FNTT, a famous former prosecutor is beaten

Ms Molotkov was accused by officials not only of theft but also of fraud and misappropriation of the official’s name: a man posing as an investigator for the Financial Crimes Investigation Service (FNTT) soon visited the former prosecutor’s home and attracted Fraudulently almost 2,000 euros.

Furthermore, Mr. Molotkov is currently facing another criminal case: he is suspected of robbery, for which the court has sentenced him to the most severe measure of detention.

On Tuesday, Vaida Sinkevičienė, judge of the Vilnius Chamber of the Vilnius Regional District Court, had to hear a criminal case in which I. Molotkov was accused of fraud, misappropriation of the name of an official, theft and kidnapping of a document. Together with him, Gintaras Girdziušas is currently being held in the Pravieniškės Correctional Center.

The criminal case filed last year had to be heard from a distance by the court, but could not: officials of the prison system did not guarantee the participation of I. Molotkov. It turned out that the man, who had been imprisoned in the Pravieniškės prison so far, was unexpectedly taken to the Šiauliai remand center on Monday, and the officers working here stated that they could not guarantee the defendant’s participation in the video conference because it was very busy.

“For what reasons I. Molotkov took place from Pravieniškės to Šiauliai just before the hearing, the court has no data,” the judge told participants in the criminal proceedings.

Without the presence of the accused, the court did not have the opportunity to hear the criminal case and was therefore forced to postpone the hearing. During the first interrogation during the pre-trial investigation, I. Molotkov fully admitted the charges and then changed his position.

During the pre-trial investigation, police officers discovered that I. Molotkov, who had served his sentence for hijacking a police weapon and was released, was looking for a way to earn a living. The man who constantly committed crimes did not hide his dependence on drugs, he did not stop using them and drugs were necessary for drugs. But getting her husband was difficult.

“When I got out of jail, I didn’t get any help from the social workers, so I had to steal,” the criminal tried to justify his behavior.

He ran into officials in June last year when he tried to steal four saucepans and a thermos from the shopping center, which cost more than 233 euros. However, by stealing these assets, I. Molotkov thought that, even if caught, he would not be liable in criminal proceedings but in administrative proceedings; He tried to ensure that the price of the goods did not exceed that of criminal liability. But he was wrong: he stole pans that were discounted with a buyer’s discount card, and when he was caught, the value of the products was calculated without discount.

Caught stealing pans, I. Molotkov admitted that he visited the store for the second day in a row; The day before he also stole pans, but this time no one caught him. And he sold these products for half the price to a woman who was waiting in the store.

I. Molotkov, who was sentenced to a month’s arrest and was soon released again, got stuck again; this time the officials had to do everything possible until they discovered that it was the famous criminal who could have committed another crime. And these crimes, as noted by prosecutor Paulius Paukštys, who supports the state prosecution in the criminal case, are in no way similar to those for which I. Molotkov was previously caught.

In the criminal case referred to the courts, prosecutors recognized spouses and pensioners living in the Vilnius district as victims. Unbelievable, but I. Molotkov managed to fool a long-time Vilnius prosecutor, an experienced lawyer who headed a crime investigation unit, who called the scammers by phone, introduced himself as an investigator of the Financial Crimes Investigation Service ( FNTT) and reported that a bank employee had been arrested on suspicion of fraud and other crimes.

According to a fascinating FNTT copycat, a large amount of counterfeit money was found on the bank clerk, as well as documents confirming that the scammer was going to build a home abroad.

“We have evidence that you are also involved with this woman and are helping her with real estate matters,” the man, who introduced himself as an FNTT official, told the former chief prosecutor.

The lawyer, who had nothing to do with the bank employees, could not believe the words of the stranger, but agreed to allow a colleague of the FNTT investigator who was calling to come to her home in the Vilnius district. And this soon appeared on the door of a woman’s home: A former prosecutor who had let in an alleged officer had again heard about the pre-trial investigation and had counted the money she had in the home, which the alleged investigator said was it could be fake.

I. Molotkov not only counted the money, but also took it, said that “evidence” was possible. And when the woman did not see, she still seized the passport in the house.

The woman, who had worked in the prosecutor’s office for several decades, realized that she had fallen into the trap of deception only when the feet of the alleged FNTT investigator had already cooled down, the victim had to go to the police in search of help.

I. Molotkov admitted that he not only called the victim, but also went home with her. It is unclear whether he knew that his dismissive victim was a former prosecutor. However, officials discovered that I. Molotkov handed over the stolen passport from the lawyer’s house to R. Girdzius, who is now on trial with him. In addition, officials have data that I. Molotkov could have acted not only, but could not identify another person during the pre-trial investigation.

On how Molotkov was a former prosecutor Delphi I didn’t want to tell it. “I don’t see any goal,” said the woman.

The agents who investigated the crime did not hide the surprise that the famous former prosecutor had suffered from I. Molotkov and did not even know it, although he had probably become Lithuania’s most famous criminal a few years ago. It is true that the victim later admitted that I. Molotkov was “as if he had seen her”, but when she arrived home posing as an investigator for the FNTT, she did not think she was a criminal; He spoke quite clearly and was like an operative.

Molotkov has also been charged with theft by officials, who broke into a garage and stole a car. The man later sold the vehicle to a found buyer, explaining that it was his uncle’s car. By the way, it had no steering wheel, because I. Molotkov accidentally broke it when the car unexpectedly stopped while driving and could not start it.

If Molotkov is proven guilty in court, he will face up to six years in prison.

I. Molotkov became famous more than 4 years ago, in 2015. November 19 Two officers from the Švenčionys district police station transported I. Molotkov back to the Švenčionys police detention center after long wanderings through the institutions care centers located in Vilnius, but before leaving Vilnius, they received an order to go to Vilnius. VI Police Station.

When the officers got out of the car for a short time, I. Molotkov, taking advantage of the current situation, hijacked the “Kalashnikov” automatic weapon with an ammunition magazine that he had left in front of the car. A police officer, approaching the rear door of the car and opening it, saw a gun pointed at himself – I. Molotkov demanded that the officer not cause confusion and sit in the car.

I. Molotkov threatened to use the weapon if his request was not met. Another police officer soon approached the car. However, even when threatened with a pistol, the defendant demanded to sit in the car.

Then I. Molotkov got away with a gun, got on a trolley bus and headed to the Naujininkai district, Pelesos str. located in an apartment building.

A huge police force was expelled to carry out their search immediately and was found that night, with the help of neighbors. I. Molotkov did not have a stolen weapon with him, but he soon showed places where he was hiding an automatic weapon with a magazine of ammunition and handcuffs.

During the examination of the case in court, it became clear that I. Molotkovas had escaped from the Gintautas Bartaška and Edita Rudytė patrols.

I. Molotkov admitted the charges in court and said that he was taken from Švenčionys to Vilnius that day because he injured his right side in the detention center.

“I had to get an X-ray in the outpatient clinic, but I did not do it,” said the doctor that there was no danger from the foreign body in the body, I could sit in the detention center, “he said.” Then I asked the officers. I normally asked them to remove the iron that I had injured myself, but they refused. “

According to him, the officers (male and female) decided to take him back to Švenčionis, but stopped at the 6th Police Commissariat on the way.

“The officers came out, they put down the machine gun, I don’t know why, maybe I got scared, or maybe out of anger, I don’t even know how to explain, I took the gun out of the seat,” he said. – And at that moment an officer came – I hadn’t even filled the machine, I just said it was loaded. I didn’t even ask the police to go anywhere, but if I had asked, I would have asked to take me home. And since that had already happened, I had no choice but to dance on the fence. Then I went home with a friend and then they arrested me. “

He said that he would have gone to the police station himself the next morning and returned the seized machine to the police.

“I just wanted to pick up things at home because how many times I was locked in an arrest, I always asked to be taken home first to collect my personal belongings, but they never took me,” he said.

“I am very sorry for my actions and want to apologize to the officials,” Molotkov said in court. He noted that he regretted not only escaping, but also threatening a policeman with a weapon, even though it had not even been loaded.
