On Wednesday night, the Panevėžys police received a report that a drunk driver was driving an Audi car near Paistri. Soon the patrol crew noticed a vehicle that matched the signs on the gravel road.
The driver obeyed the demand to stop, agreed to check if he was drunk, but then began to ignore the demands of the police officers. The latter had to use special means and lay the man down on the gravel and handcuff him.

The driver had an average drunkenness of 2.4 per thousand. He faces not only a criminal case for driving under the influence of alcohol, but also a protocol of non-compliance by officials.
The suspect was arrested and taken to the police station. There he will spend up to two days. Audi was transported to a vehicle storage area stopped by the police. The car can be confiscated by the court.
