Passengers in the car who had been injured in the accident were later reported to have escaped from the hospital and taken away.
According to Vilnius County Police Representative Julia Samorokovskaya, the report of an overturned car on Pelesa Street was received at approximately 11:15 p.m.
Police officers who arrived at the scene found an overturned BMW on the roof and two passengers sitting in the back seat. Accidental Audi A6 and Opel Insignia were also damaged during the accident.
The passenger, who was born in 1989, told police that she and a friend had been offered to be taken away by a stranger on Konduktorių Street at approximately 11 p.m.
According to her, after the car overturned, the driver and his friend left the car without saying anything.
The woman, who complained of pain throughout her body and a man over two years old, was taken to the Vilnius Republican Hospital (RVUL) by doctors.
Subsequently, a report was received from RVUL that both passengers had fled the hospital without receiving their investigations.
According to J. Samorokovskaya, information about the incident has been transmitted to the Highway Police Service, and they are conducting further investigations.
Violation of the Traffic Rules will result in an administrative infraction for the driver, as well as compensation for damage to other damaged cars and liability for the leak.
