The court held that the plaintiffs’ attempt to challenge the voting results in the Paneriai-Grigiškės electoral district and to overturn the decision of said CEC had to be submitted before the end of the vote and was not imputable to the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania .
On Wednesday, LLRA-KŠS announced that it had filed a complaint with the Lithuanian Supreme Administrative Court requesting that the results of the first round of the Seimas elections in the single-member electoral district of Paneriai-Grigiškė be declared invalid.
In the second round, the conservative Agnė Bilotaitė, who collected 29.27, competed in this district and 11.92 percent. Rita Balčiūnienė, Freedom Party candidate who received votes.
Renata Cytacka, representative of LLRA-KŠS, was the third in this district, collecting 11.22 percent. votes.
The LLRA-KŠS, together with R. Cytacka, asked the court to suspend re-voting in this constituency and compel the Central Election Commission (CEC) to provide information on known electoral irregularities.
At the same time, it was requested to declare invalid the results of the first round of the elections to the Seimas in this constituency.
Representatives of the LLRA-KŠS and the Labor Party also called on the CEC earlier this week to cancel the results in the Paneriai-Grigiškės constituency and to recalculate the votes throughout Lithuania due to the identified violations.
The decision of the Supreme Administrative Court is not subject to appeal.
