Sportando reports that the Gevi Basket Club of Naples, which has entered the Italian Premier League, has expressed interest in the 21-year-old from Kaunas and started negotiations on a contract.
Velička started last season in France, at the Champagne-Reims team Chalons-Reims, but moved to Germany in February.
In the latter country, his statistics from 21 games were 13.2 points, 5.7 assists, 3.5 rebounds and 14.4 assists per 27 minutes of play.
Velička spent 25 minutes on the field during the 11 games played in France, scoring 11.4 points, distributing 5.2 assists, bouncing 2.8 balls and recording 15.1 utility points.
