“The registration program has already been purchased and we expect it to launch in two or three years. Trials are currently underway, ”says Saulius Dabravalskis, the new director of the Sailors’ SPC, who is in charge of developing the vaccination center.

According to G. Neniškis, city leaders hear such questions about where people who have registered for vaccination will be located or whether there will be long lines. However, G. Neniškis says that he has not stopped talking many times, because the current tender to rent the premises has not yet finalized. So where exactly the facilities will be installed and that people will no longer exactly go to multiple healthcare facilities, but to one building, is still hard to say. The location is expected to be established before June 1, as the Government has set that date for the start of universal vaccination.

“The program is being tested, it will be launched soon. Klaipėda residents will have the opportunity to register and as soon as the system goes live, people will be able to get vaccinated before and on June 1, as long as there are vaccinations.
