Prienai’s “Labas GAS” team received an addition to the ranks of tall people. Giedrius Bergaudas, a forward, 20 years old and 212 cm tall, joins the team.

A three-year contract has been signed with the senior, published in a press release.
The Klaipėda resident, who has competed in Kaunas Žalgiris’ substitute team since the 2016-2017 season, was one of the team’s leaders last season.
During the 34 games played in the National Basketball League (NKL), Bergaudas spent an average of 25 minutes on the field and scored 11.9 points (48% trit.), Bounced 6 balls, made 0.7 assists and accumulated 13 utility points.
The forward organized the best performance of the season against the Vilnius Perlo-Energija team, when he scored 25 points (9/13 dvit. 2/2 trit.) In 32 minutes, he bounced 9 and took 2 balls, made 1 effective pass, blocked 4 shots from opponents and scored 34 utility points.
Bergaudas has also represented Lithuanian youth teams of all ages, and in 2016 he won European Championship silver with the sixteen-year-old team.
