A total of seven women and the same number of men died last day.
Most of the deaths, six, were in the age group 80-89 years.
Four of the dead were between 60 and 69 years old, three between 70 and 79 years old and one between 90 and 99 years old.
The Department of Statistics indicates that “the number of deaths in the last day is preliminary and increases between 20 and 40 percent in a few days.”
Additionally, another 10 coronavirus deaths were included in the overall mortality statistics when the actual date of death is earlier.

Lithuanian hospitals are currently treating 1,647 COVID-19 patients, 173 of them in resuscitation, Statistics Lithuania reported Tuesday.
In addition, 1,090 patients are supplied with oxygen and 102 people are given artificial lung ventilation.
124 patients were hospitalized for COVID-19 on the last day.
A total of 2,788 beds were used for the treatment of coronavirus infection, 282 of them in intensive care units for resuscitation.
Of the 8,424 physicians whose workplaces provide services to COVID-19 patients, 117 are currently unable to work due to coronavirus infection and 47 in isolation.
For other reasons, 612 doctors are temporarily absent.
Due to COVID-19 it temporarily disabled 370 out of 13,000. 328 nurses, 93 in isolation.
For other reasons, 1,071 nurses are temporarily absent.
