On June 3, firefighters learned of the incident on MK Čiurlionio Street from representatives of the General Assistance Center (BPC), who informed them after receiving a message that the 70-year-old man was trapped in the building’s elevator. from the train station here. for 30 minutes. He said he had also called Kauno Liftai’s emergency services, but did not receive his incoming employees.
When firefighters rushed to the scene, a woman of respectable age was found trapped in an elevator. It was launched by the employees of the Lietuvos Geležinkeliai company. The Lithuanian Railways representative, Rūta Magdalena Atroškaitė, agreed to tell the situation in more detail and explained why the disaster management work took longer this time.

The interlocutor said she learned that in this case, when a 70-year-old woman got stuck in the elevator, everything took a slightly different turn. The disaster, probably stressed, did not press a button, but called a variety of numbers, including loved ones, who knew something that could help, believing they would get help faster.
