Šiauliai County Police Spokeswoman Gailutė Smagriūnienė Delfi said police had called neighbors when they saw the wolves turning into an old man in the yard.
A woman who lived nearby came to her daughter’s house (she was at work at the time), let the dog out of the aviary and accidentally slapped her on the leg. The dog was furious: he gritted his teeth with the old man’s hand and tore it up to the elbow.
When the police and doctors arrived, the woman was sitting by a tree with her broken arm in her hands. And the dog next to her ate her hand.
Police asked the woman to somehow have access to the fence, then moved it and handed it over to the ambulance medics.
After closing the dog in the aviary, officers were still looking for a hand in the yard, but only found the remains, there was nothing left to sew. He also found the gold ring on her finger.
