Unconsciously, it influenced creative processes and aroused the desire to change the shape of the capital Christmas tree and create an unpredictable, modern and authentic Christmas tree installation.
This year’s fir is different from its predecessors: it has transformed and “has gone” beyond its borders. The concept of fir reflects the progress of modern technologies, changes in society, differences of people, movement, urban life and development, highlights Vilnius as a modern and dynamic city ”, says Dominykas Koncevičius, representative of Švenčių Studija and author of the Christmas tree.

For almost half a year, a team of 25 specialists from different fields was looking for technical solutions for this unusual fir, preparing for production. And the installation of the fir composition itself, which was attended by 10 people, took about 2 weeks.
