Firefighters in the port city also received no information about any disaster.
Klaipėda residents who discussed the annoying sound shared the news that it was an unauthorized activation of the residents’ sirens, so there was no reason.
According to the same commentator, the Klaipeda Municipality will conduct an official inspection to find out who and for what reason turned the sirens on this morning.
