The State Tax Inspectorate (STI) sold confiscated cryptocurrencies for the first time, to which the state budget transferred 6.4 million. EUR. The cryptocurrency to the euro lasted almost at par.

The STI recalls that the confiscated 3 ri cryptocurrencies (Bitcoin, Monero, Ethereum) were taken by the STI at the end of February. In preparation for the switch to virtual currency, it was necessary to create a virtual currency wallet, which was transferred to the cryptocurrency received by law enforcement authorities, and prepare the conditions for the sale of virtual currency.

Irina Gavrilova, director of the Department of Administration of Non-Payments of STI, it is worth that in the future the realization of such confiscated assets will be much easier due to the experience gained and the process created.
