“The CSTI Kaunas specialists, after analyzing the taxpayer data in the STI information systems and additionally received from the notaries, noticed discrepancies and discovered that the company did not declare more than 1 million. The sale of land and buildings worth one billion euros ”, says Judita Stankienė, director of the Kaunas CSTI.

He pointed out that this year the construction sector continues to be one of the priority areas of supervision and control of the CTI, to which more attention is paid.

According to the STI, tax specialists, constantly evaluating the data provided by the people who operate in the priority sectors, as well as their transactions, noted that one of the companies that concluded the sale transaction did not properly account for the sale. of land. and buildings.

For this reason, the company had to supplement the data provided to the tax administrator: i.SAF registered a “forgotten” VAT invoice and clarified the VAT return, in which it also declared around 880 thousand. EUR subject to VAT and almost 185 thousand. VAT to be paid in euros. The company is not on the list of victims of COVID-19.
