Sickness benefit

As is known, the sickness benefit paid from the State Social Security Fund cannot be less than 11.64% per month. the country’s average monthly salary (VMU), valid for the quarter prior to the date of determination of temporary incapacity for work.

Thus, the minimum sickness benefit per month in 2021. In the third quarter it will be 175.29 euros and in one day 8.35 euros.

The maximum compensatory earnings for the calculation of sickness benefits may not exceed the amount of 2 VMU valid in the quarter prior to the date of incapacity for work.

The sickness benefit paid with funds from Sodra (that is, from the third day of sickness) is equal to 62.06%. the amount of the beneficiary’s compensatory earnings. Thus, as of July, the maximum monthly sickness benefit will be € 1,869.12 and the daily allowance will be € 89.01.

The sickness benefit in case of temporary incapacity for work due to taking tissues, cells or organs for transplantation for donation purposes is paid at 77.58%. compensatory earnings.

The maximum profit of this type from the beginning of next month will be EUR 2336.56, and on the day – EUR 111.26.

The sickness benefit for the care of a sick family member or for the care of a child, paid from the State Social Security Fund, is 65.94%. the amount of compensatory earnings. Starting in July, the maximum profit will be € 1985.98 and the daily amount will be € 94.57.

Child care allowance

The maximum compensatory earnings for the calculation of child care benefits cannot exceed the amount of 2 VMU valid in the quarter prior to the date of entitlement to child care benefit.

The amount of the childcare allowance until the child is 1 year old is 77.58%. the amount of compensatory earnings if the insured elects to receive this benefit until the child is one year old.

The minimum childcare benefit from next month will remain at EUR 240 (6 x EUR 40) – 6 basic social insurance benefits valid in the last quarter before the date of access to the benefit

The maximum monthly allowance for childcare will be € 2,336.56 and the daily allowance will be € 111.26.

Child care subsidy, if the insured chooses to receive the child care subsidy until the child turns 2, the amount of this benefit until the child turns one year is 54.31% and until the child turns 2 years – 31.03%. the amount of compensatory earnings.

The minimum benefit in this case will be 240 euros per month. At that time, the maximum for a month up to 1 year – 1635.71 euros, and up to 2 years – 934.56 euros.

Maternity benefit

According to the interpretation of the Constitutional Court, this type of benefits is the only one without a maximum limit.

It is 77.58 percent. the amount of the beneficiary’s compensatory earnings.

Thus, as of July, the minimum maternity benefit will continue to be € 240 and the day will be € 11.43.

Paternity benefit

The maximum compensatory earnings for the calculation of paternity benefits cannot exceed the amount of 2 VMU valid in the quarter prior to the date of entitlement to the benefit. Paternity benefit is paid at 77.58 percent (it was 100 percent) of the beneficiary’s compensatory income.

The minimum profit for this type will remain at € 240 per month or € 11.43 per day.

Starting in July, the maximum paternity benefit will increase to € 2,336.56 per month or € 111.26 per day.

Vocational rehabilitation

The maximum compensatory earnings for the calculation of vocational rehabilitation benefits cannot exceed the amount of 2 VMU valid in the quarter prior to the date of the vocational rehabilitation program.

The vocational rehabilitation benefit equals 65.94 percent (was 85 percent) of compensatory earnings.

The minimum benefit for this type will be € 396.58 per month or € 18.88 per day.

The maximum rehabilitation benefit will increase to € 1985.98 per month or € 94.57 per day.
