In exceptional cases, free meals and support for the purchase of school supplies can be granted with higher incomes, that is, when the income per family member does not exceed 250 euros per month. Such cases may include, for example, an illness, an accident, the loss of a survivor, the mother or father raising a child alone, the coexistence of three or more children or at least one of the co-inhabitants, or a person cohabiting with a disability.
After verifying the family’s living conditions, students can be given support according to the procedure established by the municipality and if the average income per person per month is less than 312.5 euros.
Free meals and support for the purchase of school supplies are provided to children from low-income families who are enrolled in a preschool or general education program.
